Ta’Nae Henderson joins the South Plains College women’s track and field team as a freshman for the 2025–2026 season, competing in the 100m hurdles and triple jump. A graduate of Pine Forest High School in Pensacola, Florida, Ta’Nae has an impressive record as a 6-time All-State athlete, District Champion, 3-time record holder, Regional Champion, and All-American, highlighting her exceptional talent and dedication.
At South Plains College, she is pursuing a degree in Business Administration while continuing to excel athletically and contribute to the Lady Texans’ success.

South Plains College Women’s Track and Field has officially punched its ticket to the national stage, securing 31 qualifying marks as the Lady Texans prepare for the Outdoor National Championships in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Entering the championship meet, the Texans are ranked No. 2 in the nation, while the Lady Texans sit at No. 7 nationally, positioning both programs among the country’s elite heading into the final showdown of the indoor season.
The South Plains College Lady Texans competed in their second indoor meet of the season at the Stan Scott Invite and turned in another strong performance with several top finishes and national-qualifying marks.
