Rachel Couderc joins the South Plains College women’s track and field team as a freshman for the 2025–2026 season, specializing in the high jump. A graduate of Lycée Clément Marot in Cahors, France, Rachel placed 7th at the national championship and holds a state record in her event, demonstrating her talent and dedication.
Her goals include joining the France national team, improving her personal best heights, and maintaining her health and performance while pursuing a degree in Business.

The South Plains College Texans and Lady Texans wrapped up the 2026 indoor track and field season at the NJCAA National Championships in Topeka, Kansas. The Texans finished 5th overall with 58 points, while the Lady Texans placed 6th with 55.5 points, highlighted by national champions, podium finishes, and numerous scoring performances.
