Jennifer Lozano joins the South Plains College women’s track and field and cross country teams as a freshman for the 2025–2026 season. A native of Killeen, Texas, Jennifer is a 3-time All-District Champion, showcasing her talent and dedication in middle-distance events.
At South Plains College, she plans to pursue a degree in Nursing while continuing to develop as a competitive middle-distance runner.

South Plains College Women’s Track and Field has officially punched its ticket to the national stage, securing 31 qualifying marks as the Lady Texans prepare for the Outdoor National Championships in Hobbs, New Mexico.
The South Plains College Texans and Lady Texans wrapped up the 2026 indoor track and field season at the NJCAA National Championships in Topeka, Kansas. The Texans finished 5th overall with 58 points, while the Lady Texans placed 6th with 55.5 points, highlighted by national champions, podium finishes, and numerous scoring performances.
Entering the championship meet, the Texans are ranked No. 2 in the nation, while the Lady Texans sit at No. 7 nationally, positioning both programs among the country’s elite heading into the final showdown of the indoor season.
The South Plains College Lady Texans continued their indoor campaign at the Jarvis Scott Invite hosted by Texas Tech University, turning in multiple top finishes while solidifying their national-qualifying marks with one meet remaining before the Indoor National Championships.
The South Plains College Lady Texans competed in their second indoor meet of the season at the Stan Scott Invite and turned in another strong performance with several top finishes and national-qualifying marks.
