High School: Earl Warren HS, class of 2008.
High School Athletic Accomplishments: Was a three time district triple jump champion, and two time regional triple jump champion. In 2007, Kia brought home the silver medal at the state meet, finishing second.In theSummer of 2007, she finishedthird in the triple jump and seventh in the long jump at the AAU Junior Olympics. Finished fourth in both the long jump and the triple jump at the 2008 state meet. Best Triple Jump is 40-8.5; Long Jump: 18-10
At SPC: Finished 4th at NJCAA Indoor championships and 3rd at the NJCAA outdoor championships in the triple jump where she boasted her season best jump of 41-08.75.
Personal: Born July 14, 1990 to Allen and Kathy Wansley, Kia also has one brother.
