Bio

High School: Edwin Allen.

High School Athletic Accomplishments: Represented Jamaica at the Central American and Caribbean Games in 2004, where she received a gold and bronze medal. In 2005 Cole competed in Morocco at the World Youth Championships and in Canada at the Pan American Games. In 2004, 2005, 2007, and 2008 she competed with her Edwin Allen High School teammates in the 4x400 meters and 4x800 meters at the prestigous Penn Relays. In 2008 she helped lead the 4x800 meter relay team to a third place finish at the Penn Relays with a time of 8 minutes, 44 seconds - an Edwin Allen High School record.

At SPC: Won both the 600 and 800 meter events at the 2009 NJCAA Indoor Championships and won a third NJCAA title when she was victorious in the 800 meter run at the 2009 Outdoor championships.

Personal: Born November 11, 1988 to Marjorie Briscoe and Glenfor Cole, Shakeeri also has four brothers and one sister.
