Jamison Lewis joins the South Plains College men’s track and field team as a freshman for the 2025–2026 season, competing in the hurdles. A graduate of Fort Bend Marshall High School in Beaumont, Texas, Jamison had an outstanding high school career, earning State Runner-Up honors, qualifying for the Junior Olympics, and capturing District, Area, and Regional Championships.

He is pursuing a degree in Welding while continuing to develop as a competitive hurdler and contributing to the Texans’ track and field program.

The South Plains College Texans and Lady Texans wrapped up the 2026 indoor track and field season at the NJCAA National Championships in Topeka, Kansas. The Texans finished 5th overall with 58 points, while the Lady Texans placed 6th with 55.5 points, highlighted by national champions, podium finishes, and numerous scoring performances.
