Bio
High School: Friona High School class of 2008.
High School Athletic Accomplishments: Competed in Track and Field, Powerlifting, and football. Was district champion in the discus in 2006, while he was runner up in 2007 & 2008; Finished second place at regionals in 2006 and 2007. In 2006 Dillon finished fifth at the State Championships and improved on that in 2007 when he finished second; In powerlifting he was a three time regional qualifier and was a three year starter on the football team.
At SPC: Qualified for 2009 NJCAA outdoor championships in discus throw, finishing fifth with a throw 149-01.
Personal: Born March 19, 1990, Dillon is the son of Kevin and Linda Welch. He has three siblings; Duncan (15), Kelsey (24), and Katy (22).
