Cactus Barnes begins his freshman season with the South Plains College men’s rodeo team competing in team roping and tie-down roping. A native of Maybell, Colorado, Cactus qualified for nationals in both team roping and cutting during his high school career at Moffat County High School.
With a strong rodeo background, Cactus is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Business while continuing to build his skills in the arena and represent the Texans rodeo program.
