Warris Isaiah added 11 points, and Bryceson Dobie contributed 10 while playing all 40 minutes. Don Escobar chipped in nine points in 18 minutes.
The difference ultimately came in the opening half, where South Plains' offensive efficiency and defensive pressure created separation. Despite Frank Phillips' improved second-half effort, the Texans' early dominance proved decisive in securing the 90–76 road win.
