Sylee Peterson returns for her sophomore season with the South Plains College women’s rodeo team as a breakaway roper. A native of Southland, Texas, Sylee grew her skills at Southland High School, where she developed a strong foundation in rodeo and a commitment to excellence in and out of the arena.

Looking ahead, Sylee hopes to pursue a career in an agriculture-focused field, though she remains open to exploring opportunities as she continues her studies in Agricultural Business at South Plains.
