Zaran Kirkpatrick enters her sophomore season with the South Plains College women’s rodeo team as a standout in both breakaway roping and goat tying. A native of Post, Texas, Zaran excelled at Post High School, capturing back-to-back Region 2 THSRA championships in 2023 and 2024 in her events.
With a proven track record of success, Zaran is determined to continue building her career in rodeo at South Plains, with the ultimate goal of qualifying for the College National Finals Rodeo (CNFR). She is pursuing a degree in Animal Science as she balances her academic and athletic aspirations.
