LEVELLAND, TX - The No. 7 South Plains College Lady Texans delivered a dominant performance Friday night, defeating Cochise College 87-54 in the Texan Classic at the Texan Dome. With the win, the Lady Texans improve to 11-1 overall.
South Plains controlled the game from the opening tip, overwhelming Cochise on the glass with 53 total rebounds. Their work on the boards translated to 18 second-chance points, helping SPC maintain momentum throughout all four quarters.
Defensively, the Lady Texans were relentless. They forced 26 turnovers and converted those opportunities into 30 pints, setting the tone with pressure and pace that Cochise struggled to match.
Offensively, the Lady Texans showcased balance and efficiency.
