The Lady Texans move to 6-5 on the year and will be back on the floor on Thursday when they host Howard College at 5:45 p.m. at the Texan Dome. Admission is free for all spectators, and the game will stream live at spctexans.com.
Celia Sumbane netted a team-high 14 points for South Plains, 10 coming in the second half. Ewa Kielar dropped in 13 points for the Lady Texans, while Raija Todd had finished with eight points and Viktoria Ivanova tallied seven.
