Lady Texans play host to Cisco Saturday at 2 p.m.
LEVELLAND – The South Plains College Lady Texans will play their first home game of the season when they take on Cisco College at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon at the Texan Dome.
Last weekend, the Lady Texans (1-1) split a pair of games in Thatcher, Ariz., dropping their opener to Eastern Arizona 70-64 and then defeating Chandler-Gilbert 82-73 in overtime.
Cisco brings a 2-1 record to the Texan Dome to face the defending WJCAC tri-champions.
Through two games, sophomores Tasheena Moore and Jasmine Brainard have led the Lady Texans with each averaging 20 points per contest. Freshman Ijeoma Nzekwe is also scoring in double digits with 12 per contest.
