Lady Texans complete fall schedule with 87-63 drubbing of Dallas Diesel

LEVELLAND – Shea Myatt scored 24 points on 9-of-16 shooting from the field and received plenty of help with three others contributing double-digits as the South Plains College Lady Texans matched their win total from last season with an 87-63 drubbing of the Dallas Diesel Saturday evening at the Texan Dome in South Plains' final fall contest.
Sydney Hearn scored 16, TaSheena Moore 11, and Levelland native Lindsey Lee came off the bench to add 12.
South Plains (9-2) never trailed in the game and led by as many as 25 points.
Former Lady Texan Ashley Frazier led the Dallas Diesel with 16 points while playing all but two minutes of the contest.
The Lady Texans will now take a few weeks off before resuming their season Dec. 31 when they face Mesa College in the first of four games in the Phoenix, Ariz. area. Following their trip in Phoenix, the Lady Texans will begin conference play January 10 when they host Midland College.
