Lady Texans cruise by Lubbock Christian JV

LUBBOCK - TaSheena Moore led a barrage of four Lady Texans scoring in double-figures with 18-points as the Lady Texans cruised by Lubbock Christian's junior varsity squad 97-32 Monday afternoon at the Rip Griffin Center.

Moore made 9-of-11 shots from the field and also chipped in with seven assists, six rebounds, and five steals.  She received plenty of help as Sydney Hearn added 15; Courtney Dawson scored 13 off the bench; and Jasmine Brainard chipped in with 10.

The Lady Texans (8-2) made 39-of-72 shots from the field and 18-of-22 attempts from the free throw line.  South Plains outrebounded their opponent by a whopping 53-32.

South Plains will complete their fall schedule when they host the Dallas Diesel Saturday, Dec. 1 at the Texan Dome.  Tip-off is scheduled for 4 p.m.
