Lady Texans take down Pima

THATCHER, Ariz. - The South Plains College Lady Texans had four players score in double figures and shot 50-percent from beyond the arc to defeat the Pima Aztecs Friday afternoon.

For the second night in a row, TaSheena Moore led the team in scoring with 16 points on 6-of-15 shooting from the field.  Sophomore Sydney Hearn had a good night with 13 points and seven rebounds, while Alexius Dawn and Shea Myatt dropped in 12 apiece. 

South Plains led 36-18 at halftime.

The Lady Texans will wrap up their three game road trip when they play host Eastern Arizona College Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.  They will play their first home game Friday, Nov. 9 at the Texan Dome.
