January 4, 2011
TUSCON, Ariz. - Lorie Romaine scored 18 points and added five rebounds but that was not enough as a Pima three point shot with three seconds remaining sent the game into overtime where South Plains College would fall by the score of 71-63. SPC led 27-21 at halftime.
The Lady Texans were forced to foul after falling behind early in the extra period and Pima capitalized by making free throws to drop the SPC women to 9-4 as they prepare to begin conference play on Monday, January 10th at Howard College. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:45 p.m.
