SPC set to host cross country meets Oct. 6 and Oct. 13

LEVELLAND - The South Plains College cross country teams will not have to go far for there next two competitions as they will be contested on the SPC campus near the track and field complex Saturday, Oct. 6 and Oct. 13.
Junior High School races will begin at 8:30 a.m. for the girls and 8:50 a.m. for the boys and will be followed by the girls junior varsity and varsity competitions. At 10:15 a.m. the gun will sound for the boys junior varsity with the boys varsity toeing the line next. The collegiate women's race will begin at 11:15 a.m. and the men's collegians will conclude the competition when they begin at 11:45 a.m.
Fans wishing to attend the meet can access the field by parking and entering at the Texan Track and Field Complex. Admission is free of charge.
