PLANO — The South Plains College men's basketball team fell to Collin County 68-65 in overtime Friday in their first contest of the Collin County Thanksgiving Classic at Cougar Gymnasium.
South Plains moves to 3-4 on the year and will be back on the floor on Saturday when they square off with Hill College at 3 p.m. The game will stream live at spctexnas.com.
Eric Coleman Jr. led South Plains on the offensive end, pouring in 16 points including three triples in the second half. Savion Gallion netted 14 points, all coming in the final 20 minutes, while Malik Zachery chipped in 11 and Jaden Harris tallied seven.
