Adam Gulick joins SPC men's basketball coaching staff

LEVELLAND — Following a two-year stint with Colby Community College, the South Plains College men's basketball program will welcome Adam Gulick to the sidelines this season as an assistant coach for the Texans. Gulick spent the previous two seasons with the Trojans in Colby, KS, serving as an assistant coach in the Jayhawk Conference. During his tenure, the Trojans turned out six players who would go on to sign with NCAA Div. I schools. Gulick also served as the interim head coach for eight games during the 2022 campaign, amassing a record of 4-4 including a win in the Jayhawk Conference Tournament.

LEVELLAND — Following a two-year stint with Colby Community College, the South Plains College men's basketball program will welcome Adam Gulick to the sidelines this season as an assistant coach for the Texans.
 
Gulick spent the previous two seasons with the Trojans in Colby, KS, serving as an assistant coach in the Jayhawk Conference. During his tenure, the Trojans turned out six players who would go on to sign with NCAA Div. I schools. Gulick also served as the interim head coach for eight games during the 2022 campaign, amassing a record of 4-4 including a win in the Jayhawk Conference Tournament. 
 
Prior to his time in Colby, Gulick was a graduate assistant at Florida State University for two seasons. During the 2018-2019 season, the Seminoles reached the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Div. I Men's Basketball Tournament and made an appearance in the ACC Conference Tournament title game. During the 2019-2020 season, the Seminoles won the program's first ACC Championship and finished fourth in the Associated Press national poll. 
 
Before arriving in Tallahassee, Gulick began his junior college coaching career at Grand Rapids Community College during the 2017-2018 season, which saw the Raiders capture the Region 12 title and capped the year ranked ninth in the final national poll. 
 
A native of Grand Ledge, Michigan, Gulick earned his bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University and a master's degree from Florida State University.
