The Texans have five players averaging double-figures in points scored and as a team are scoring over 97-points per game, but head coach Steve Green is keeping things in perspective.
"Right now we have survived two tests," says the 11th year Texan head coach. "This is a young team that is still adjusting to playing together.
"We are working hard to get them to take ownership and realize that if they work hard and play smart, the results will come. Basically, you get what you put into it."
Green added that the Texans are now into the meat of their schedule as they will be facing formidable opponents the rest of the way.
This will be the first of three consecutive weekend road trips for the Texans who will travel to Denison the weekend of November 19-20 for the Grayson College Classic and then to Plano the following weekend for the Collin County Thanksgiving Classic.
