
LEVELLAND – Lady Texan basketball players Shea Myatt and Stephanie Moore signed scholarships to continue their collegiate basketball careers during a ceremony Thursday afternoon in the T-Club lounge of the Texan Dome.

LEVELLAND – Lady Texan basketball players Stephanie Moore, Shea Myatt, and Sydney Hearn will ink commitments to continue their athletic and academic pursuits at four-year universities Thursday afternoon at 1 p.m. inside the T-Club lounge located inside the Texan Dome.

LEVELLAND – During last month's Lady Texan 'Think Pink' Night versus New Mexico JC on Monday, Feb. 11, the SPC department of athletics raffled off an iPad4 with Retina Display in an attempt to raise money for breast cancer awareness.
The 'Think Pink' raffle produced $1,100 that was presented to Covenant Hospital of Levelland in a presentation on March 28, 2013.

LEVELLAND – The Texans and Lady Texans were well represented when the all-Conference and all-Region awards were announced earlier this month. Five Lady Texans made the all-conference list; with two earning first-team honors and head coach Michelle Wyatt taking Coach of the Year honors. Three Texans earned all-conference accolades, with Yanick Moreira leading the way earning the Most Valuable Player award for the WJCAC.

LUBBOCK – Alexius Dawn scored a career high 19 points while Shea Myatt and Tasheena Moore chipped in with 12 and 11, respectively, but that was not enough to stave off the Midland College Lady Chaps in the Region 5 semifinal as the Lady Texans' 2013 season came to an end with a 83-67 loss Friday afternoon at the Rip Griffin Center.
Midland (25-7) built a 13-point lead in the first six minutes to start the game and never looked back on their way to building a 42-24 halftime lead.
