LEVELLAND, Texas - The No. 1 ranked South Plains College Texan basketball team is set to host back-to-back conference games in the same week for the first time this season when they play host to the New Mexico Military Institute Broncos on Monday, February 6, and then follow that up with a Homecoming celebration as they square off with Midland on Thursday, February 9. The undefeated Texans have plenty of activities planned for those wishing to come out and watch top-notch basketball.

SNYDER - Stanton Kidd scored a game high 21 points and three other Texans added double-digits to help lead the South Plains College Texans to an 83-62 victory over the Western Texas College Westerners Thursday night at the WTC Coliseum. The victory improves the NJCAA No. 1 ranked Texans record to 21-0 overall and 6-0 in conference play, and gives them a two game lead over Odessa, Midland, and Howard. The Westerners drop to 13-9 and 1-5 league play.

   

LEVELLAND, Texas - The South Plains College Texan and Lady Texan basketball squads travel to Snyder Thursday afternoon to square off with Western Texas College in their sixth conference game of the season. The women's game will tip at 5:45 p.m., and the men will follow at 7:45 p.m. Live audio for each contest can be heard on KLVT 1230 AM as well as www.hprnetwork.com. LEVELLAND, Texas - The No. 1 ranked South Plains College Texan basketball team remained undefeated as they slipped by Howard College 65-62 Monday evening in the Texan Dome. With the victory, South Plains improves to 20-0 overall and 5-0 in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC).
