Ellie is from Astoria, Oregon a small town on the coast. She attended Astoria High School where she played volleyball and graduated in 2002. She majored in Human Physiology at the University of Oregon, graduating in 2006. She is now in her second year in the Master of Athletic Training Program at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and will graduate in May. Ellie will be working with all of the SPC teams during the fall. Her hobbies include playing fantasy football and watching the Ducks whenever possible. Her favorite athlete is Steve Nash. She first became interested in athletic training when she was injured in high school.
