Chris Riley enters his sixth year as a volunteer assistant with the SPC track and field program, primarily coaching the high jump.

Since coming on board to assist Coach Beene's Texan and Lady Texan squads, Riley has been an essential part of seven NJCAA track and field championships, indoors and out.

After a four-year career as a decathlete at Tarleton State University, Riley began his coaching career as a graduate assistant with his alma mater, where he coached 14 division II NCAA qualifiers, five NCAA All-Americans, and one NCAA Division II Champion.

Riley and his wife Jennifer have one son, Micah, and a daughter, Isabella Joy.
