Athletic Accomplishments in Jamaica: Represented Jamaica at the Central American and Caribbean Games in
2004, where she received a gold and bronze medal. In 2005 Cole
competed in Morocco at the World Youth Championships and in Canada at
the Pan American Games. In 2004, 2005, 2007, and 2008 she competed
with her Edwin Allen High School teammates in the 4x400 meters and
4x800 meters at the prestigous Penn Relays. In 2008 she helped lead
the 4x800 meter relay team to a third place finish at the Penn Relays
with a time of 8 minutes, 44 seconds - an Edwin Allen High School
record. SPC Athletic Accomplishments: Shakeeri was instrumental in SPC winning both indoor and outdoor team titles in 2009, winning three individual titles in the process. Outdoors she won the 800 meter run in 2:10.11 and she swept the 600 and 800 meter run titles at the NJCAA Indoor meet, running a school record of 1:32.65 en route to the 600 title and crossing the line in a time of 2:21.57 in the 800. She claimed the school record in the 800 meter run when she ran 2:14.35 at Texas Tech on February 7.
