High School: Roosevelt High School class of 2009: There was not much Daisha did not do while at Roosevelt as she not only cheered, but also competed in basketball, track, cross country, softball, and tumbling. Unfortunately, an injury to her knee in the tenth grade caused her to cut back some.
An All-American cheerleader from 7th - 11th grades, Daisha accolades include a fourth place finish at nationals in 7th grade. She has also cheered and/or coached at Texstar cheer and dance, pride cheer, and at Raider Xtreme cheer and dance. She also coaches a special needs cheerleading squad. Hayes says she is very excited to be cheering at SPC and she looks forward to the many exciting adventures she will face along the way. Personal: Born December 8, 1990, Daisha is the daughter of Debi McKinney and Mike Hayes. She has two brothers, Davin (21) and Drake (20), and a sister, De'Nae (19). Ms. Hayes intends to go to nursing school and in her spare time her hobbies include competitive cheer, tumbling, lifeguarding, going to the lake, and meeting new people.
