High School:  Petersburg High School, class of 2008. 
Participated in track, cross country, tennis, and cheerleading at Petersburg.  She was part of cross country and track teams that were crowned district champions.  Also participated in one act play, served as FCCLA treasurer, was on the A-B Honor roll, and competed in UIL newswriting competitions.  Was the first runner up in Miss Lubbock Teen USA and best swimsuit competitions and was fourth runner-up in Miss Caprock competition.  Voted class favorite in senior year.  Academic Accomplishments at Petersburg:  Won the government award as well as the Mayo Agency scholarship. 
At SPC:  Serves as a senator for the Student Government Association in addition to cheerleading.
College Major:  Broadcast Journalism
Personal:  Born May 4, 1990, Miranda is the daughter of Mary and Jesse Adams and is majoring in broadcast journalism. After SPC she plans to complete a degree in broadcast journalism and live a happy, successful life.
