2017 IAAF World Championships Spotlight: Natassha McDonald

As a freshman running for the Lady Texans, McDonald was crowned National Champion in the women's 400 meters at the 2017 NJCAA Outdoor National meet in Kansas where she posted a time of 53.52.

A native of Toronto, Canada, McDonald produced another championship performance at the Canadian Track & Field Championships at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility in Ottawa where she was named the Canadian National Champion in the 400 meters with a dazzling time of 52.20. McDonald also earned national runner-up honors in the women's 200 meters with a time of 23.21.

McDonald will represent Canada in London at the IAAF World Championships as part of the women's Canadian 4x400 relay team. The women's 4x400 will get underway at 5:20 a.m. local time on August 12th.
