The SPC Texan basketball team will be travelling to Roswell, N.M. today to take on the New Mexico Military Institute Broncos.  Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m. (MST).

Every game is crucial for the Texans as they are battling with Midland College for the lead in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference.  Going into Thursdays games, Midland has a half game lead on the Texans with a 10-2 record.  South Plains College sits at 9-2 and did not play on Monday.  Midland has their bye on Monday, February 23.  New Mexico Military enters todays contest with a 1-10 WJCAC record.
