LUBBOCK - The South Plains College Texan and Lady Texan rodeo teams will participate in the fourth-of-five fall rodeos beginning Thursday night at 7 p.m. with the first performance of the Texas Tech rodeo.
South Plains will have five participants in Thursday night's performance and one in the slack that follows. Action heats up Friday with 12 participants competing in 9 a.m. slack and 10 more in the second performance beginning at 7 p.m. 11 SPC athletes will compete in the final section of the long round beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday morning.

Through three fall rodeos South Plains has been well represented in the Saturday short rounds and SPC athletes certainly hope Texas Tech is no exception as several are highly ranked in the Southwest Region standings.
