The South Plains College Texans will be going for their third conference win tonight when they take on the New Mexico Military Institute Broncos at 7:00 p.m. at the Texan Dome.  The game will be aired live on KLVT 1230 AM and www.hprnetwork.com.

South Plains College, ranked 13th in the latest NJCAA poll, has been led in scoring by sophomore David Tairu, averaging 17.1 points-per-game, and has nailed 49% of his 3-point attempts ranking him 26th nationally in that category.

Also leading the Texans this season is Markhuri Sanders-Frison, averaging 7.1 rebounds per game.  Landon Tatum has been dishing out 5.3 assists per game.
