LEVELLAND, Texas - South Plains College is hosting the SPC Invitational in conjunction with the Region 5 Championship meet tomorrow beginning at 12 p.m. with the javelin and hammer throws as well as the 10,000 meter run. 

The Texans and Lady Texans face competition from Region 5 opponents Western Texas, New Mexico JC and New Mexico Military Institute in addition to Wayland Baptist and McMurry University and hope to improve marks and gain additional qualifiers in their final tune-up before traveling to Hutchinson, Kansas for the NJCAA Championships May 20-22.
