The Texan triple jumpers took three of the top five spots in the event with Stephen Emere leading the way with a jump of 50-06.00 that was just short of his season best and good for second place. Anthony May improved his season best by nearly two-feet when he finished third with a leap of 49-10.00. Ronson Small was fifth with a best jump of 49-08.25.

Kia Wansley took second place in the women's triple jump with a best effort of 39-07.00 coming on her third attempt.

Angelle Miranda ran a season best of 2:17.65 and finished 11th overall in the women's 800 meter run.

Jura Levy, the Lady Texan 100 meter record holder, qualified for the final of the women's 100 meter dash when she crossed the line with a time of 11.72 seconds to win the second section. Levy's time is the third fastest in the field entering the final set for 7:15 p.m. Janelle Redhead missed qualifying for the final after finishing second in her section with a time of 12.06 seconds.
