Lady Texan basketball star Sajoyia Griffin has been named division I Player of the Week by the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) for contests played through January 24th. 

Griffin, a 5-5 guard from Universal City, Texas, helpd the Lady Texans to wins over Western Texas on January 18th and then 14th ranked Odessa College on January 21st with combined totals of 41 points and 16 rebounds.  Griffin shot 50-percent from the field and 9-of-13 three point attempts (69-percent).

Griffin will look to continue her impressive play when the Lady Texans face New Mexico Junior College on February 1st at 5:45 p.m.
