The South Plains College Texan and Lady Texan basketball teams are on the road tonight and will face Midland College in their first conference road contests of the season.  The Lady Texans tip at 5:45 p.m. while the Texans begin play at 7:45 p.m.

The Lady Texans (10-6, 1-0) look to stay on top of the conference against the Lady Chaps (16-3, 0-1) who are currently ranked sixth in the NJCAA.

The Texans (10-5, 0-1) have a tough task as the Chaps (17-0, 1-0) are currently the number one team in the NJCAA.
