LEVELLAND, Texas - The 15^th ranked South Plains College Texans improved to 6-1 on the season with an 80-50 thumping of the Coastal Bend Cougars to close out the 2009 SPC Classic. SPC had yet another strong shooting night, making 28-of-53 (.528) shots from the field.

Sophomore Bo Ingram led all scorers with 19 points on 7-of-10 shooting, while post Myles Walker added 11.

Josh Orta and Tramar Sutherland scored nine points each and Orta had a game high of six assists.

The Texans return to action on Tuesday, November 24^th when they travel to Lubbock to face the LCU jv squad at 5 p.m.
